Client Story

These clients had a clear vision of the design, style and functionality they wanted for their home along with a selection of distinctive features to bring a contemporary edge to the coastal home. The inclusions of black matte tapware throughout steered away from the traditional silver and added an aesthetic accent throughout the home. Along with the black a white handmade Byron Bay Jatana tiles in the bathroom, there is a great subtle nod to uber-cool mod style.

We also loved their inclusion of the woodgrain finish lower cabinetry in the kitchen to bring a little touch of nature in.

The deck that wrapped around the pool outside made for a great entertaining area and, on the front exterior, aluminium battens imitating timber gave the home a really warm, natural, modern, feel. Aluminium battens are a great alternative to timber as they doesn’t need re-coating and won’t bend, split or warp like timber.
